Do you know this man? His name is Alice Cooper. If you do, tell him I've been trying for a year to get a hold of him to interview him. He's supposed to be as funny as they get. One of his best friends was Graucho Marx and he really likes Bluegrass.
If you run into him, would you please let him know I'll go anywhere, any time to spend 5 Minutes with him for my podcast interview at 5MinutesWithwichita.com? He can call me at 888-483-0036 or email me at WichitaRutherford at Gmail.com
Thanks so much.
Your pal,
Wichita

Well, I'm gonna be on XM now instead of Sirius. We finally got the details worked out and Kyle Cantrell and the fine folks at XM gave me the ultimate spot for Bluegrass; 5 pm Eastern every Friday on channel 14. (They call that "Drive Time") As well, I'll be on for 5 minutes a day throughout the week with reports on what's happening with the Bluegrass and Country and some times Rock stars that we all love so well. And yes, there's NASCAR drivers too. The new show "The Grand Old Time Machine" is gonna be the radio version of the TV show which will be on the recently launched Blue Highways TV this summer. We're gonna have the best time. Rob Walch over at Podcast411.com interviewed me about all this and you can go hear it here if you want. Me, Mitchell and Smarty are so excited we can hardly stand it. Things here will be back on schedule soon too and oh my goodness, gosh-a-mighty me, I've got some interviews on the way you just won't believe. You be good.

Wichita

Bobby Osborne is one of the most famous Bluegrass musicians in the world and done it all. And I mean ALL. He's won awards, recorded the most played Bluegrass song of all time (Rocky Top), traveled the world and oh yeah, HE'S A WAR HERO. He came over and we talked for a bit. Here's what happened...

I use this service from a place called SiteMeter and they show you a map of where your blog readers are coming from.
Every morning I get up and get a look at what parts of the world folks are visiting my blog from in the past 3 hours. There's this one that's there every morning. Sitting there all by itself. Lonely looking because everybody else is so far away. Its about as far away as you can get from where I live.
The place? Victoria Australia. Its the white dot on the far right near the bottom of the picture. So whoever you are over there, "Hello!" and thanks for popping in every morning. You be good.

Wichita

I don't care what anybody says, this guy is crazy. 200 mph. Come on! Who wants to drive 200 mph!? People in their right minds don't need to drive that fast. They just don't. Its not normal. Its not natural. I went over to the track in Wilkesboro NC and talked to him because I didn't know he was crazy. He took me for a ride in one if his cars. Here's what happened...
